Insight Connector is a desktop plug-in that enables Outlook IMAP servers (like Insight Server) to provide the same features that ExchangeTM server provides to Outlook. With Insight Connector, all groupware functions are available within Outlook(2000-2007).
Use Bynari’s Insight Server, Cyrus IMAP, Courier IMAP, Citadel or Kolab open source Linux email servers, to share Outlook calendars, tasks, and folders without Exchange. Most of the features/functions of Outlook are also supported.
ASPs and customers who already have an Outlook IMAP server and want group calendars with Outlook, sync Outlook calendars, and share Outlook calendars with other users will find Insight Connector easy to configure and use.
Some of the features include resource management, public folders sharing, appointments/tasks scheduling, voting, grouping, calendar sharing, multiple accounts under one profile and other email groupware features of Outlook. Over 95% of the features/functions of Outlook are supported with the Insight Connector.
