Why Nubli:

Here is the story of one of our customers – “She is in a leadership position in her company, and is constantly in the middle of communications between several teams and hence receives a ton of emails, everyday close to 200 mails. They usually come in layers from different regions of the world. By the time she goes to the office in the morning, she already has 100 mails waiting for her. Even before she has looked at the first 20 or 30 emails when someone interrupts and then she has to attend to something or go attend a meeting. And this continues for the rest of the day. At the end of the day she finds no peace of mind, constantly scanning her inbox that one email that might have fallen through the cracks” Sounds familiar? That’s “email overload” for you, and its only getting worse. We lived this problem for years, trying almost all the available solutions in the market. We used them all. Some of them created rainbow colors in our inbox, Some searched for items that I knew existed, some crashed our email client, some told us how we can set an action item in nine more clicks, etc….

There has to be a better way !
However, none of the above solution at the time, helped us improve our productivity and hence save time for me. So we decided to take on challenge of developing our own solution. The goal of the solution was simple:

(a) Can someone give me a list of emails that I need to respond right away without me spending half a day going through all the emails?
(b) Can I respond to emails quickly, particularly the emails that require quick response which constitute more than 50% of the responses?
(c) How do I stop carrying “the list of emails to respond to” in my head? How can I not get to the ‘brain freeze” situation where I forgot to respond to one email until the next day and get called to the carpet in boss’s office?

We set out to put together a solution starting with these three goals and the result was the formation was Nubli. We understand the pain and anguish a person goes through with email overload.
